The purpose of this dissertation is to examine how Higher Education institutions can maximize the learning potential of the Study Abroad experience by means of pedagogical guidance. The project reports on the impact of an online curricular intervention designed to strategically address the linguistic and intercultural learning process of students of Applied Language Studies at Ghent University departing for Erasmus to Spain.
