Kísérletünk célja a nagymennyiségben etetett, két különböző eljárással tartósított (Biocrimp vs. Kemisil) nedvesen roppantott kukorica hatásának vizsgálata volt tejhasznú tehenek tejtermelésére. A kísérlet során 3 hónapon (2x45 nap) keresztül etettünk kétféle módon tartósított nedvesen roppantott kukoricát 300 tehénnel. Két egyenlő csoportot alakítottunk ki, melyek felváltva kaptak 6-6 hétig Lactobacillus buchnerivel (Biocrimp) és Crimpstore 2000S (Kemisil)-el tartósított kukoricát cross over elrendezésben. Esetünkben nem, a minden szempontból kritikus ellés körüli időszakot vizsgáltuk, hanem az ezt követő nagy tejtermeléssel jellemezhető periódust.
