International audienceDuring the last few years, we have gathered optical and near-infrared data from various massive star forming regions of the Magellanic Clouds searching for "blobs", which are high excitation Hii regions that are a particular type of Hii regions in the Magellanic Clouds. Although a detailed scheme of massive star formation still has to be sketched, these regions are believed to bear very interesting information concerning the formation of this kind of stars.
