Computer aided design and manufacturing is a technology that has emerged a few years ago in the field of dentistry. It allows to replace some conventional laboratory techniques and has allowed the appearance or development of new materials such as zirconia. This material has become a must in prosthetic dentistry where it finds numerous indications thanks to its mechanical and optical properties. Several generations of zirconia have been put on the market since the beginning of its use in order to improve its properties and to extend its indications.
