The paper analyses the Italian National Plan for Training the English Teachers at Primary Schools. This Plan was promoted by the Italian Ministry of Education to cope with the last and most recent educational reform that introduced English as a school subject into the curriculum at primary schools. A panel of experts worked to a national training plan for English primary teachers which will soon be tested.
