Introduction: the growth of digital technologies implies a mutation of our society that deeply modifies the population habits. The emergence of miniature multimedia devices, easy to use and accessible, involves a screen exposure that begins in early childhood. The aim of this study was to determine the average daily screen time spent by an under 6-years-old child in front of interactive and/or TV screens, in the French region of Rhône-Alpes-Auvergne.Methods: a cross-sectional study was conducted in randomly selected general practitioners’ offices in the region Rhône-Alpes-Auvergne.
