International audienceOver the past two decades, the resilience of IT infrastructure such as data centers has become a major concern for IT giants such as Google or Amazon. Data centers powered by renewable energy have been proposed. But due to the intermittency of these energy alternatives, these platforms remain connected to the conventional power grid. The IT structure and electrical constraints have often been addressed separately, leading to an inefficient overall system. In this paper, a decarbonized energy self-sufficient data center is modeled and designed, proposing an electrically self-sufficient infrastructure including wind turbines, solar panels and short (batteries) and long term (hydrogen systems) storage devices.
