International audienceBacterial spores can cause significant problems such as food poisoning (like neurotoxin or emetic toxin) or serious illnesses (like anthrax or botulism). This dormant form of bacteria, made of several layers of barriers which provide extreme resistance to many abiotic stresses (radiation, temperature, pressure, etc.), are difficult to investigate in situ. To better understand the biological and chemical mechanisms involved and specific to spores resistance, the acquisition of environmental parameters is necessary.
