Introduction to the Special Issue on Financial Technology (FinTech) Research

In this introduction we provide statistics about the importance of financial technology in the global financial markets, provide a summary of research category topics that have been identified in a previous study (Suryono, Budi and Purwandari, 2020), and note which of these topics are addressed in the article that is published in this special issue
