The aim of this chapter is to introduce the processes of subjectivation arising in adverse contexts, as a result of the psychic vulnerability experienced by children under 3 years old, who are admitted to institutions in the City of Buenos Aires, Argentina. The children hosted there have been detached from their biological parents owing to their progenitors’ own negligence, neglect or situations that put the child’s life at risk.
