La perlita es una roca de origen volcánico, cuya propiedad sobresaliente es la de expandirse cuando es sometida a la acción del calor aumentando hasta veinte veces su volumen. Expandida, es utilizada principalmente en la industria de la construcción como aislante térmico y acústico. Durante el proceso de fraccionamiento de la misma se producen desechos del mineral llamados “finos de perlita”. Este trabajo abarca el estudio de hormigones autocompactantes coloreados (HACC) con la incorporación de finos de perlita (FP), planteando distintas dosificaciones con el fin de analizar las propiedades en estado fresco y endurecido de los hormigones para definir si es viable su uso como reemplazo de parte del cemento en la mezcla.Perlite is a volcanic ...
