Arthritis in patients with Crohn's disease: our experience

Arthritis can occur in association with inflammatory bowel disease (Crohn's disease and Ulcerative Colitis). It usually affects a large lower extremity joint and often occurs when the bowel disease is flaring. Sometimes the arthritis manifestations are the first symtoms that appear and the bring the patient to clinical controls.
