Lindley, Nathaniel. A Treatise on the Law of Partnership. 5th ed. Boston: Charles H. Edson & Co., 1888. Sir Nathaniel Lindley (1828-1921) was an English barrister and the last Serjeant-at-Law. He was called to the bar in 1850, eventually serving as a judge for thirty years. His Treatise on the Law of Partnership (1860) was incredibly well received upon its initial publication. This edition provides rules and reasonings from English caselaw with notes from American law for comparison. It covers contracts of partnerships, rights and obligations of partners, and dissolution of partnerships.
