A questionnaire was prepared with the aim to conduct a longitudinal survey on the changes ad the consequences which follow the dissolution of marriage; it was proposed to some members of an association of separated and divorced people, during a meeting of the society, and to some other people, separated or divorced too. The interviewed were 54 men and 18 women. On the average, they were 48 years old, they were separated by 8 years, after 14 years of marriage; their level of education was higher than the mean of Italian divorced and separated people.
