The reconstruction of the past sea-level changes and of their effects on the paleoenvironmental evolution are necessary steps for the modelling of the future sea-level rise and for the elaboration of management plans for the safeguard of the coastal systems. Such reconstruction is often hampered by the scarceness of adequate indicators as a consequence of the lack of formation/preservation or due to the low resolution. This work focuses on the analysis of possible new paleo sea-level indicators.
