Objectives: DM (Diabetes mellitus) is a serious community health problem and considered a burden of disease for social security institutions, households, and society. The objective was to analyse the costs of inpatients with diabetes mellitus. Study Design: This study has a descriptive, cross-sectional and retrospective research approach. Method: In the study, diagnosis related groups (DRGs) related with diabetes mellitus were analysed with regard to hospital invoices and DRG costing.
