Young people in Middle East and North Africa (MENA) countries are rarely recognized as a resource in decision-making processes and are systemically excluded from key policy areas on development. The aim of this article is to measure the Multidimensional Poverty Index (MPI) of youth and to explore its determinants in selected countries of the MENA region. The key value-added of the MPI is that it identifies poverty in the dimensions of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, and it conveys additional information on the composition of poverty that is not captured in single-dimensional measures. © 2021 Taylor & Francis Group, LLC.European Refugee Fund, ERFThis work was supported by the economic Research Forum (ERF) under the call ?No...
