Analysis and implementation of OSPF in IPv6 over IPv4 tunneling environment

The usage of various modern advanced technology has simplified communication in present society. Millions of individuals are incorporating new communication technology into their daily lives. People may now effortlessly multitask at home, at work, or in public areas via the Internet. We've seen Wi-Fi entry points in a variety of public settings, including schools, commercial malls, and hospitals. Though individual users may obtain particular addresses, the establishment of the Internet Protocol during the last three decades has led to millions of individuals owning various Internet-enabled devices. It is fact that people can now have many devices, and each device requires a unique address. As a result, a new Internet protocol known as IPv6 was deployed in place of the old version known as IPv4.In actuality, many devices still use IPv4, although others have begun to adopt IPv6. Although, IPv4 and IPv6 contain unique structures, thus introducing IPv6 into the existing IPv4 link does not perform without compatibility difficulties. As a result, Dual-Stack, Tunneling, & Translation methods are used to facilitate the transition from IPv4 to IPv6 networks. Despite their distinct architecture, the conversions enable us to interact between IPv4 and IPv6 networks. For a complicated network, the right transition mechanism must be used, and in-depth research and analysis can assist in determining the optimum transition strategy. This research concentrates on the investigations of the OSPF protocol across various forms of IPv6 over IPv4 tunnels. Information on the structure and disposition of these tunnels has been presented, and some of tunnels have been tested in a real-world setting. To demonstrate the relevance of this approach, encrypted versions of tunnels were built and Wireshark packets were captured. The author conducted research to determine how IPv6 over IPv4 tunneling & OSPF are implemented in combination. The experiments cover topics such as project conception and all methods used to acquire accurate outcomes.
