Diplomová práce je zaměřena na nefarmakologické ošetřovatelské intervence, které lze účinně využít pro prevenci deliria dospělých pacientů. Teoretická část práce nabízí ucelené informace o deliriu a jeho specifikách preventivní péče. Empirická část práce navazuje zpracováním literárního přehledu, který sestává z validních celosvětových studií, dohledaných ve vědeckých databázích. Veškeré dohledané studie jsou zaměřeny na nefarmakologické intervence pro prevenci deliria, jedná se především o časnou mobilizaci, kognitivní stimulaci, podporu spánku, reorientaci, hudební stimulaci apod.
