Municipal Strategies for Increasing Traffic Safety by Improving Road Infrastructures: An identification of traffic safety strategies used by the Dutch G4 municipalities and a comparison on social costs and benefits

The aim of this thesis is to increase the traffic safety by identifying what road infrastructure improvement strategies are currently used by the G4 municipalities, how they relate in terms of costs and benefits, the allocation thereof, and what complicating factors play a role in the road safety decision-making process.Complex Systems Engineering and Management (CoSEM
