The “The Culture of Living” explores the idea of an urban block as an organism, where living, working and meeting activities are entangled. This exploration seeks to create a lively neighborhood, where the residents and users are the protagonists while the urban block is the stage. At the same time, this project is a continuous research on how a residential neighborhood can adapt to the current needs of cities, how a balanced relationship between the private domain and the public space can be achieved, what the ritual of transition from the public sphere to the private home is, and how the use of a local material can create an intangible connection to the identity of the city.Architecture, Urbanism and Building Science
