Academic writing is based on a pragmatic and neutral approach to all subjects of communicative situations as it needs to be objective. Language assumes adjustment of the subject of the author, topic and expressive means as well as a necessary distance from the addressee. Standards and norms of this style refer to different tools of suppressing subjectivity, eliminate expressivity, especially emotionality, and any negative components. It appears to be a stressful task to a certain extent for an author dealing with humanities.
