One ofthe most important sources of economic success ofthe city is the volume and ąuality of its human Capital. In the paper the author assumes that the bigger the number ofinhabitants and the better the parameters of human Capital, the higher is the level of economic success ofthe city and it’s dynamie. The aim of the paper is an attempt to preliminary determination of aggregates of human Capital measured by some indicators and their correlation with aggregated economic values ofthe success. These results fromstandardized values ofsome indicators describe the level of economy in the dynamie period (2002-2007) of changes and development of 24 Polish cities.
