Alzheimer’s disease is one of the most common forms of neurodegenerative disease in which the extracellular deposition of fibrils and tangles of the aggregation of amorphous amyloid â-peptide are found in some part of the brain, mainly in the region responsible for learning,memory and emotional behavior. Neurons that use glutamate and acetylcholine as neurotransmitter are mainly affected. The disease is caused due to the deposition of Aâ amyloid extracellular.
