Adsorption of surfactants at air-liquid and solid-liquid interface and wetting of solid surfaces are closely interdependent. The performance of many physicochemical process and fundamental understanding depends on these two important phenomena. Because of the importance of these phenomena this study mainly focuses on adsorption of different surfactants at air-water and solid-water interfaces and wetting of those surfactant solutions at flat solid surfaces. The main emphasis of this study is plant-based natural surfactants; however some synthetic surfactants are also studied as a reference for comparison.
