NiCuZn ferrite is a very important material for multilayer chip inductor core material. La & Mg substituted NiCuZn ferrites have been reported in different literature for their improved electromagnetic properties. However there is no report of simultaneous substitution La and Mg in NiCu Zn ferrite. The present project focuses on the effect of simultaneous substitution of Mg and La in NiCuZn ferrite. All the compositions were synthesized through auto-combustion method. The nano-crystalline ferrite powders were successfully synthesized by this method.
