In the report, preliminary results of the investigation of a newly discovered, highly well-preserved remains of the late medieval deserted village Goschwitz in the Strzelin Heights (Wzgórza Strzelińskie) region in Lower Silesia (SW Poland) were presented. Through he analysis of a DTM obtained through LIDAR scanning, i.a., the layout and the principles of the measurement of the settlement were identified
