The article concerns the notion of translation project in the light of contemporary research on translator training, which has suggested that introducing projects into translator training has many advantages, including the sense of "reality" of the translated text that students gain in the course of such projects. The researchers have also proposed several stages of the project, including preparatory stage, actual translation and consolidation phase.
