This research concerns synthesis of C/Li2MnSiO4 nanocomposite materials and investigation of their structural and electrochemical properties. C/Li2MnSiO4 nanocomposites were produced in a one step process using sol-gel method. Primary carbon coatings of the active material grains were obtained from residual organic gel matrix. Morphology and properties of C/Li2MnSiO4 nanocomposite materials were investigated by thermal analysis (EGA-TGA/DTG/SDTA), X-ray diffraction (XRD), electrical conductivity measurements (EC), N2-BET adsorption measurements and transmission electron microscopy (TEM).
