Leadership in public educational organizations : thinking about educational leadership

The paper presents the issue of specificity of educational leadership as well as the proposal of preparation of educational leaders. It is done using the example of Erasmus Intensive Programme training project called “Leadership for democratic citizenship in european schools” prepared and run jointly by six european universities.
