Single crystals of austenite stainless steel Fe-18% Cr-14% Ni-2% Mo (I) were investigated in order to reveal the mechanical properties determined by hydrogen effect. As experimental data shows, hydrogen effect enhances strength of the material and affects orientation dependence of the mechanical behavior
