Se presentan modelos matemáticos de complejidad creciente para estudiar la influencia de las corrientes parásitas y las variables geométricas y cinéticas sobre las distribuciones de corriente primaria y secundaria en los electrodos terminales y bipolares en reactores de configuración bipolar. Los resultados experimentales fueron obtenidos con prototipos fabricados en este laboratorio. Con un primer modelo simplificado se realizó un análisis paramétrico, agrupando las variables que condicionan la distribución de corriente en números adimensionales. Como caso límite se obtuvo la distribución de corriente primaria. Un segundo modelo posibilitó la resolución numérica de la ecuación de Laplace, y fue usado para hallar la distribución de potencia...
