Many rehabilitation methods and approaches can be used for improving plasticity and motor functions. It has been seen in the literature that one of the tool is Music Supported Therapy (MST) for the stroke rehabilitation. (Scholdz, Rohde, Nikramnam, Brückner, Grobach, Rollnik, Altenmüller, 2016) In this meta-analysis the aim of researcher is to find out the effect of the music supported therapy towards neuroplasticity and motor recovery. Furthermore, this meta-analysis has an aim of providing recommendations to future physiotherapist and researchers regarding to effectiveness of MST. Research Object: Musical Supported Therapy in after stroke rehabilitation The Aim of the Research: To analyze the effect of the music supported therapy on neuroplasticity and motor recovery for patients after stroke. Objectives of the Study 1. To analyze the Music supported therapy for motor functions of patients after stroke and determinate the effect on upper extremities functions. 2. To analyze the Music supported therapy for neuroplasticity and determinate whether it’s effect to the neuroplasticity. 3. To provide recommendations to future physiotherapists and researchers regarding to effectiveness of MST. Research Methods 1. Searching for recent literature according criteria for rejection and inclusion, 2. Selection of studies, 3. Analysis of various studies according to ARAT and BBT tests. Conclusion Music supported therapy has clinically positive effects on upper extremity motor functional improvement and it increase the neuroplasticity in the brain after stroke so MST is an effective tool in stroke rehabilitation
