Household Use of Food, 1955-65

Excerpt from the report: Money value of food used at home (excluding alcoholic beverages) rose from $24.43 per household per week in the spring of 1955 to $27.82 in 1965, an increase of 14 percent. This information is based on national surveys of household food consumption conducted by the Department of Agriculture.
