The lifespan estimation of a reinforced concrete structure, as well as the need for repairing the structure is the main preoccupation of the building owners. Analysisis of the chloride profiles is carried out for various elements of a quay concerning the Port authority of Nantes Saint-Nazaire. The studied elements are subjected only to the spray and are never in direct contact with sea water excepted during the storm.
