Agmatine is a newly found neurotransmitter and its role in important modulations of central nervous systems how the pharmacological importance of agmatine. The aim of this study was to investigate the possible toxic andproliferative effects of agmatine, which is known to have endogenous neuroprotective effect, on primary rat neuronculture.
