This study has been conducted to explore frequency and the aims of secondary school teachers’use of Web 2.0 technologies for instructional purposes. A questionnaire developed by theresearchers has been used to collect data from 168 secondary school teachers. The study resultsindicated that the most frequently used technologies were social networking sites and videosharing sites, about which the teachers also felt most compotent in using. These technologiesmostly used for communication purposes, making research about the lessons or reachingmaterials that support lessons.
