Dopamine is a neurotransmitter involved in several brain functions ranging from emotions control,movement organization to memory formation. It is also involved in the regulation of mechanisms ofsynaptic plasticity. However, its role in Alzheimer’s disease (AD) pathogenesis is still puzzling.
