The Late Epigravettian in Italy: new data on local and interregional aspects during the Late Glacial – The authors summarise data on the Late-Final Epigravettian in the Italian peninsula on a multidisciplinary basis. The lithic assemblages and symbolic behaviour are the main reference records while other aspects (settlement dynamics, dwelling organisation, economic strategies, etc.) are less diagnostic for an evaluation on a broad geographical scale, since they are strictly connected with the specific environmental and topographic contexts.
