ASUHAN KEPERAWATAN PADA AN.G DENGAN DEMAM TIFOID DI RUANG RAWAT INAP H RUMAH SAKIT WAVA HUSADA KEPANJEN

Background: Typhoid fever is a disease caused by salmonella typhi infection. Young children are more susceptible to typhoid fever because their immune systems are not as strong as adults or because they do not maintain cleanliness when eating and drinking, not washing their hands properly after urinating or defecating. Common symptoms that arise are fever up and down, especially at night, nausea, vomiting, decreased appetite. The purpose of this scientific work is to analyze Health nursing care for An.G with Typhoid Fever in Inpatient H Hospital Wava Husada Kepanjen. Methods: The research method used in the preparation of this Final Scientific Paper uses case study reports. In writing the scientific method in accordance with the rules of the nursing process which include: Assessment, data analysis, nursing intervention, implementation and evaluation. Result: After giving nursing intervention for 3 days to An.G. The results of case analysis in An.G patients with typhoid fever obtained four diagnoses, namely hyperthermia, hypovolemia, nutritional deficit and anxiety. With the results of providing nursing care for hyperthermia management, thermoregulation education, hypovolaemic management, nutrition management and distraction techniques. In addition, the application of a water edged sponge was added and it was found that there was a decrease in fever. Conclusion: The main nursing diagnosis priority is hyperthermia, and other diagnoses include hypovolemia, nutritional deficits and anxiety. From the results of the nursing analysis with the interventions provided, including the water tepid sponge, it is effective in reducing fever in patients
