INTERNALISASI NILAI-NILAI KARAKTER ISLAMI PADA PESERTA DIDIK MELALUI PROGRAM KELAS KEBERBAKATAN TAHFIDZ AL-QURAN DI SEKOLAH MENENGAH ATAS MUHAMMADIYAH 1 MALANG

This study aims to describe about 1) Internalization of islamic character values in students through the Al-Quran giftedness class program at Senior High School of Muhammadiyah 1 Malang 2) The implications of the Al-Quran giftedness class program on islamic character values in students at Senior High School of Muhammadiyah 1 Malang This research uses a qualitative approach with the type of case study research. Data collection techniques in this study were interviews, observation, and documentation. The results of this study showed that 1) the process of internalizing islamic character values through the Al-Quran giftedness class program is carried out by integrating islamic character values in learning practices which include two aspects, namely activities and teaching materials in tahfidz learning, adab learning and hadith learning. In the process of internalizing Islamic character values to students, there are 4 stages carried out, namely a) value understanding stage, b) value belief stage, c) value habituation stage, d) value identity stage. 2) The implication of the Al-Quran giftedness class program on islamic character values of students is been formed of Islamic characters in students personality as a whole accompanied by the ability to actualize values which include Ilahiyah (faith) and Insaniyah (humanity) values in daily life
