PENGETAHUAN DAN SIKAP PETANI DALAM BERUSAHA TANI KENTANG VARIETAS GRANOLA KEMBANG DI DESA TOSARI KABUPATEN PASURUAN

Farmers' knowledge and attitudes about seed/variety quality are very important as a means of developing technology and diffusion strategies. This knowledge is useful in establishing a contextual potato variety breeding program such as designing breeding program priorities, planning dissemination objectives and methods, and predicting future success as a plant breeding program from a research and development point of view. In Tosari Village itself has a limited level of human resources, this is because they do not know how to grow potatoes properly. Farmers in Tosari Village still have a low level of education, use of technology that is still basic, with limited marketing results and limited access to market information. This research aims to. (1) Knowing the effect of knowledge on the success rate of potato cultivar Granola Kembang in Tosari Village. (2) Knowing the effect of farmers' attitudes on the success rate of potato cultivar Granola Kembang in Tosari Village. (3) Analyzing the strategy for the successful cultivation of the Granola Kembang variety potato in Tosari Village. The sampling technique used is the total sampling technique. This study uses statistical data analysis techniques in the form of descriptive statistical tests, data validity and reliability tests, classical assumption tests, multiple regression tests, and hypothesis testing. The analysis used to test the instrument: test the validity and reliability. The result of this research is that the knowledge of farmers affects the success rate of cultivating the Granola Kembang potato variety in Tosari Village, and the attitude of the farmer affects the success rate of cultivating the Granola Kembang potato variety in Tosari Village. The two independent variables have a simultaneous effect. Based on the value of Adj. R2 can be concluded that the value indicates the strong relationship between the independent variable and the dependent variable
