ANALISIS EFISIENSI ALOKATIF DAN ELASTISITAS PRODUKSI USAHATANI KENTANG DI DESA SUMBER BRANTAS, KECAMATAN BUMIAJI, KOTA BATU

A horticultural product called the potato serves as both a vegetable and an alternative for carbs. Due to the need for them from both families and industry, potato plants have several benefits or possibilities. Since there is a significant demand for potatoes, production yields must be sufficient. The aim of the research was to investigate the impact of production factor utilisation, the degree of allocative efficiency, and the level of production elasticity on potato output. The Slovin algorithm was used to select a simple random sample of 50 potato producers for the study, and questionnaires, interviews, and documentation were utilised to gather the data. The Cobb Douglass production function, allocative efficiency, and production elasticity calculations are performed on the data used to evaluate the main data. The examination of the allocative efficiency of the use of land area variables, SP36 fertiliser, and labour is pronounced inefficient on potato production, and the elasticity of potato farming scale in Sumber Brantas Village is at the stage of being inefficient, according to the calculation findings. Decreasing returns to scale may be understood as an increase in the percentage of extra production factors over the increase in additional production factors
