HUBUNGAN TINGKAT PENGETAHUAN DAN SIKAP PASIEN TERHADAP KEPATUHAN PENGGUNAAN OAT (Studi di RSUD Kanjuruhan Kabupaten Malang)

Background: Tuberculosis is the most prevalent infectious disease in the lungs. Tuberculosis or often known as TBC or TB has been known for a long time due to germs or Mycobacterium tuberculosis bacteria. Research Objectives: To determine the relationship of the patient's level of knowledge and attitude to compliance with the use of oats (anti-tuberculosis drug) at Kanjuruhan Regional General Hospital, Malang Regency. Method: This study used cross sectional study design, the sample was selected using saturated samples with inclusion criteria and obtained a sample of 30 people who met the inclusion criteria in May 2022 at Kanjuruhan General Hospital, Malang Regency. Results and Conclusions: Based on the results of the study, showed that most of the patients had a good level of knowledge (76-100%), namely 25 respondents (83.3%). Most of the patients had a positive attitude (≥95%), namely 20 respondents (66.7%). Chi-Square test of the relationship of knowledge level to compliance with the use of oats showed that the value of ρ value 0.02 < α = 0.05, so H1 was accepted. Chi-Square test of the relationship of patient attitude to compliance with the use of oats showed that the value of ρ value 0.007 < α = 0.05, so H1 was accepted. In conclusion, there is a relationship between the level of knowledge towards the compliance with the use of oats at Kanjuruhan Regional General Hospital of Malang Regency, as well as a relationship between the patient's attitude towards the compliance with the use of oats at Kanjuruhan General Hospital of Malang Regency
