ANALISIS SOSIALISASI POLITIK RELAWAN DEMOKRASI BASIS WARGA DISABILITAS PADA PEMILIHAN KEPALA DAERAH KABUPATEN KEDIRI TAHUN 2020

People have the right to vote without exception, including people with disabilities. The fulfillment of the rights and needs of persons with disabilities has not been implemented properly. Another problem is that the voter base for persons with disabilities has a low level of political participation. Volunteers for democracy based on voters with disabilities were formed to assist the Kediri Regency KPU in inviting people with disabilities to exercise their voting rights in the 2020 Regent and Deputy Regent Elections. The purpose of this study is to find out how the political socialization of democracy volunteers based on disability citizens in the Kediri Regency regional head election 2020. The method used is qualitative research, located in Kediri Regency, using primary and secondary data sources, data collection techniques by interview and documentation, research subjects are Kediri Regency KPU, democracy volunteers, and PDKK, data analysis techniques in the form of reduction data, presenting the data, then drawing conclusions. The conclusion obtained is that the volunteer democracy program is a good program, but in its implementation the democratic volunteer voter base for persons with disabilities has not gone well. DPT voters with disabilities were 4,143 people, but only 575 people received election socialization and voter education. The number of voter turnout for persons with disabilities has increased by 114 people to 975 people from the 2015 elections to the 2020 elections
