PENGEMBANGAN WISATA DALEM SI MBAH BERBASIS MASYARAKAT (COMMUNITY BASED TOURISM) CARANGWULUNG, KABUPATEN JOMBANG

This study to aims to describe: a) Strategy of the Youth, Sport and Tourism Office in developing community based tourism, b) What are the opportunities for community based tourism development Dalem Si Mbah in districts Jombang. The research uses descriptive qualitative and data collection techniques using observation techniques, interview, documentation. The subject of this research is the Departement of Youth, Sport and Tourism, Jombang Regency, the techniques used in data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing.The data validity technique used is to extend the observation time, increased persistence, triangulation and also using reference materials. Research result include: a) Strategy of the Youth, Sport and Tourism Office in developing community based tourism that is In charge to develop tourism in Jombang Regency wich will be a great potential potential to advance Jombang Regency, the strategy carried out by the Youth, Sport and Tourism office is to carry out according to its main decuties and functions namely being a motivator, dynamist and facilitator, especially with the holding of festival fun week. b) community participation in the form of the support for the roles carried out by the Youth, Sport and Tourism office by becoming an actor in tourism development and participating in promoting tourist object nn personal socialmedia. C) Opportunities for developing community based tourism as an industrial center in Jombang Regency
