ANALISIS IMPLEMENTASI LITERASI MEMBACA DIKELUARGA TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR SISWA KELAS 1 MI DARUL ULUM II KABUPATEN PASURUAN

This research is motivated by the existence of madrasas at the elementary school level which have students with high learning outcomes. Madrasas that have provided a special program, namely reading literacy in the family. This madrasa sees a great opportunity for children by creating reading literacy programs in the family and also in line with seeing the importance of literacy, reading literacy is not enough to only be implemented in schools, but also the smallest unit, namely the family and the need for the role of the community. The low reading literacy culture is still a problem that needs to be solved. So it takes parental involvement in building literacy habits and carrying out reading literacy in the family environment. This study uses a descriptive type of research with a qualitative research approach. This research was conducted at MI Darul Ulum II, Pasuruan Regency. The research subjects were students, teachers and parents. Researchers used observation, interviews, documentation, and student questionnaires to obtain research data. The results of the research are (1) the implementation of reading literacy in the family of class 1 students of MI Darul Ulum II Pasuruan Regency is carried out in several steps: a. children's learning motivation regarding reading literacy in the family. b. controlling time for the implementation of reading literacy in the family. c. create a good home climate in the family. d. sending positive energy and the last is giving awards to students, namely verbal praise or giving new books to encourage students to learn. . (2) The impact of reading literacy in the family on the learning outcomes of grade 1 students, experienced a fairly high increase from the previous generation. it is proven that the existence of this family reading literacy program has a very important impact on the academics of grade 1 students at MI Darul Ulum II, Pasuruan Regency. This is also proven directly in the report cards of grade 1 students, the majority of grade 1 students get an average score of 90 percent
