The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of reward, punishment, on employee performance through job satisfaction as an intervening variable, with a sample of 53 employees. Data collection techniques using questionnaires. Instrument testing uses validation test, reliability test, classical assumption test. The data analysis technique uses a scale range, path analysis, hypothesis testing and Sobel test. The results of the study (1) Reward has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction. (2) Punishment has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction. (3) Job satisfaction does not have a positive and significant effect on employee performance.
