Kesiapsiagaan Badan Penanggulangan Bencana Daerah dalam Menghadapi Bencana Banjir di Kabupaten Bondowoso

Preparedness is a series of anticipatory measures taken to prevent or guard against the arrival of a disaster with systematic and appropriate and efficient steps. Preparedness in dealing with flood disasters is an activity carried out to anticipate flood disasters so that actions taken at the time of a disaster are carried out appropriately and effectively. The purpose of this study was to determine the preparedness of regional disaster management agencies in dealing with floods in Bondowoso Regency. This study uses descriptive qualitative research methods, with primary data collection techniques obtained through direct observation, interviews, and documentation. Secondary data is literature from previous research, information either through the internet, or data obtained in the field related to this research. The results showed that the Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) Preparedness in Facing Flood Disasters in Bondowoso Regency was carried out well, this showed that with the TRC and PUSDALOPS, Flood Disaster Management Contingency Plans, Gathering disaster-prone areas and safe locations for evacuation, Provision and preparation of supply goods to fulfill needs, Prepare facilities and infrastructure to be used in flood disaster management, Socialization, Disaster skills training and Formation of disaster-resilient villages. The well-planned BPBD preparedness of Bondowoso Regency still encounters various obstacles, namely limited human resources, budget constraints, and lack of facilities and infrastructure
