PENYELESAIAN KONFLIK PERBATASAN THAILAND DENGAN KAMBOJA ATAS KUIL PREAH VIHEAR

This study aims to discuss the conflict resolution strategies of Cambodia and Thailand in the territorial dispute over Preah Vihear Temple. Preah Vihear Temple is a cultural heritage that has various potentials ranging from nature, economy, to tourism which is very important and meaningful for both countries. So that the ownership status of the Preah Vihear Temple became so important that it was eventually fought over to create a dispute for the two countries. In order to explain the case in a scientific way, this study uses the conflict resolution and shuttle diplomacy concept, with a qualitative research type and a descriptive approach. The data itself has been collected through interviews and literature review methods. The results of this study indicate that the conflict resolution strategy that was carried out through three approaches; peacemaking, peacekeeping, and peacebuilding succeeded to resolve the conflict of Cambodia and Thailand by involving various approaches from bilateral negotiations, military approach to involving a third party which is explained by using the concept of shuttle diplomacy
